As we welcome you and guests to our Christmas Eve Service: Lessons & Carols, we have adapted the following guidelines to ensure the safety of all who enter.

All guests are expected to follow these guidelines to minimize the potential spread of COVID-19:

  • Church members and guests must sign a waiver each week prior to entering building.

  • Church members and guests are limited to lobby, bathrooms, and sanctuary.

  • Church members and guests must wear a mask as required by IDPH. Masks may be removed during sermon only. Masks are required to be worn for all other portions of the service.

  • Church members and guests must follow social distances guidelines (handshakes and hugs are discouraged)

  • Sanctuary doors will remain open for improved air circulation. When weather permits, windows will also be opened.

  • Do not rearrange chairs as they provide appropriate social distance between guests/family groups.

  • Children are to stay with parents.

  • Bring your own pen, water bottle and bible.

  • Door handles and bathrooms will be sanitized prior to Sunday worship.

  • Group congregational singing will be offered at the end of the service. Those participating should be aware of additional risk this poises and that the CDC and IDPH recommends against singing. There will be an opportunity for those not comfortable with singing to leave prior to it starting.

  • Attendance will be capped per Illinois Restore Capacity Guidelines.

  • Per CDC guidelines, those over 65, pregnant or have underlying medical condition are at a higher risk with COVID-19. It is recommended that these groups/individuals participate through the Live Feed found on Facebook.

  • You can register at the door as space allows.
